Both during and outside of the Fire Danger Season there are still strict restrictions on when and what you can burn.
These restrictions are covered in Section 25 of the Environment Protection Act 1993 and are imposed by the Environment Protection Burning Policy 1994.
The Clare & Gilbert Valleys Council is not an administering agency for the purposes of this Act, therefore please direct all complaints to the Environment Protection Authority - 1800 623 445
For clarification on when, where and what you can burn please open the EPA guide
'Burning in the open on domestic and non-domestic premises' to view and print this document.
