Business SA is proud to announce that the inaugural
Regional South Australian Young Entrepreneur Scheme (SAYES)
program is back for 2020
The SAYES Regional program is a business mentoring and learning program designed to help young regional entrepreneurs aged between 18 to 35 years to establish or further develop and grow their business.
Young entrepreneurs in Regional South Australia have previously incurred additional travel and accommodation expenses when travelling to the city to attend learning workshops and or events. Business SA recognises the additional financial pressures that this can place on young people looking to access the support they need and as a result, Business SA in partnership with the Department for Innovation and Skills, is covering all travel and accommodation costs incurred by participants in the program.
Accordingly, the fee per successful applicant for the program is a very reasonable $1,600 including GST.
To minimise the amount of travel to the city and reduce the amount of time taken out of regional workplaces, the twelve month SAYES Regional program will be delivered in seven face to face blocks including learning workshops, online webinars and face to face mentoring sessions with industry experts. Participants will also receive remote mentoring sessions for a full twelve months.
We are seeking your support in promoting the program through your regional networks. In doing so, you will be helping participants from regional areas to gain access to and build their business capability and networks. By participating in this program, they will meet other inspiring young business owners across the South Australian entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Regional participants will commence the Program and graduate with the SAYES Metropolitan participants in 2021 with an opportunity to take out the coveted South Australian Young Entrepreneur of the Year, Business Plan of the Year or Business Growth awards.
The 2020 intake is commencing on 14 October 2020 and places are expected to fill fast. Your assistance in circulating this in your region is much appreciated and you may also consider sponsoring an entrepreneur in your region.
Together we will work to build a stronger regional business presence for South Australia. For more information and to discuss sponsorship opportunities, please contact Jade Henschke – Manager, Entrepreneur Programs for Business SA on (08) 8300 0114 or firstname.lastname@example.org
