Roadworks:
Council’s contractor Downer EDI Group will be working within Clare & Gilbert Valleys Council in the coming weeks sealing Council rural and township re-seals as a part of the 2023/24 Road Sealing works.
There may be some delays and various traffic and speed restrictions in place. All road users are asked to take care and obey all signs and instructions.
Following these works, there may be loose stone on the road and shoulders, this is a part of the curing process for the road re-seal, each segment of road will be “swept” after approximately a week of setting and settling. Times may vary due to weather conditions.
The following roads are on the schedule of works:
- Neagles Rock Road Clare
- New Road Clare
- St Vincent Road Watervale
- Sheoak Road Watervale
- St Vincent Street Auburn
- King Williams Streets Auburn
- Kingston Terrace Auburn
