Events in the Council Region

Council strongly encourages events within its boundaries and recognises the broad range of benefits as a result of hosting events, as evidenced in the Event Management Strategy below:

If you are interested in holding an event in the Council region, please contact the local Council office in the first instance for general enquiries.

Local events - can be facilitated by Council employees.

Large Events - any event that involves road closures and larger crowds, will require more detailed partnership with Council, and the Event Application Form below will be a useful tool in managing the success of the event for all parties.
