Clare Library is Family Friendly

Parenting facilities available include:

Change table and nappy disposal with an accessible toilet area. Breastfeeding friendly facility endorsed by the Australian Breastfeeding Association. Freshly ground coffee and cool drinks available for purchase. Microwave and kitchenette available for patrons

Monthly Programs

• Cinematic Chat Club: A monthly informal chat that starts with a movie, coffee and cake and finishes wherever the digression takes you.  Check on Facebook or in the library for the next meeting.

• Teen Book Club: A high school-aged group that share snacks, play games and have lively and open discussions without judgement about books they love and hate and other hot topics.   1^st Friday of each month from 4-5 pm at the Clare Library. Please register your interest.

• Tween Book Club: A middle-upper primary-aged group that enjoy snacks and chats about the books we love, mixed with games, fun and challenges.   3^rd Thursday of each month from 4-5 pm at the Clare Library. Please register your interest.

• Book Buddies: Not your traditional book club, but a discussion group on what you are currently reading and books you would recommend. A great way to add to your reading list.   2^nd Thursday of the month from 10.30 am at the Clare Library.
