🚧 Roadworks Notification – Vandeleur Road, Tarlee
Vandeleur Road Upgrade
Council advises that roadworks for the Vandeleur Road upgrade at Tarlee will commence in October 2026.
The works will involve temporary traffic controls and changes to access around Vandeleur Road, Billy Goat Flat Road, Giles Corner Road and surrounding roads.
⚠️ Temporary Traffic Changes
Temporary road closures, local traffic access arrangements, detours and reduced speed limits will be in place during the works.
Drivers can expect:
- Road Closed / Local Traffic Only restrictions around Vandeleur Road and connecting roads.
- Detour signage directing traffic around the work area.
- Temporary speed limits of 80 km/h, 60 km/h and 40 km/h approaching the works.
- Roadworks warning signs and traffic control devices throughout the work zone.

Motorists are encouraged to seek alternative routes where possible to avoid delays and allow additional travel time if travelling through the area.
